Morooka

Amphibious excavator

One of the most important machines in our collection is the DX140 swamp excavator. We acquired this impressive machine and all its attachments in 2017. So, it’s in great condition and takes advantage of the latest technologies. Our DX140 floating excavator can handle the work that once would have required three machines, thereby saving time and money. When it comes to dredging, erosion management and land reclamation, it’s undoubtedly one of the most in-demand pieces of gear in New South Wales and Australia.

Efficiency and Effectiveness

One of the pontoon excavator’s brilliant features is its retractable carriage. This makes transport quicker and easier, by enabling closure of 3.5 metres. Once in place, set up time is just 30 minutes so more time is spent on getting the job done. The amphibious excavator’s minimal operational demands translate directly to savings for you.

Cat D6 LGP

The D6 LGP has extra wide tracks and undercarriage and are known as swamp tracks or LGP (Low ground pressure)

These particular dozers are designed to work in much more testing conditions then standard designed dozers, the wider tracks allow the LGP dozers to operate in wet, mud and swamp areas.

Capture 5

Long reach excavator

The long reach excavator is a development of the excavator with an especially long boom arm, that is primarily used to reach areas standard excavators are unable to achieve.

Our fleet includes a 15m and 20m Long Reach Excavators

These machines are ideal for waterway dredging, quarrying, digger work, slope working, weed removal, silt removal and dam clean out.

Slurry and Booster pumps

A slurry pump is a type of pump designed for pumping liquid containing solid particles, these particular pumps can also be utilised as a Booster pump connecting to the dredge unit to achieve further material distance in removal.

Argo Avenger

The Argo Avenger is an eight-wheeled all terrain vehicle.

On land the load capacity 630kg, on water 370kg

One of the ARGOs most distinguishing features is its amphibious capabilities. The ARGO is able to make it through all types of wetland environments including slow moving streams, rivers and even small lakes. The ARGOs specially designed tires are what allow it to effortlessly propel through the water. While its top speed in water is 4.8kph, with the optional accessory of an outboard motor ARGOs are capable of reaching speeds of up to 16kph.

Uses in the mining, exploration, forestry and search rescue.
